What’s the difference between website maintenance and website care?
Website maintenance keeps the technology safe and up to date. Website care keeps the content current. My plans combine both and also make sure your website gets found and brings in enquiries.

What does WordPress maintenance include?
- Backup before every update, so we can always roll back.
- Updates with checks: WordPress, theme and plugins are updated, then we check your homepage, key pages and form. Major updates are tested on a staging copy first.
- Security: malware scans, a firewall against automated attacks and login protection against password guessing.
- Housekeeping: removing unused plugins and themes, optimising the database, keeping PHP up to date.
- Monitoring: if your site goes down, we get an alert – usually before you notice.
Once a month we also send a test enquiry through your contact form. It sounds trivial, but it’s the check that saves the most money: a silent form costs you every lead that arrives in the meantime. More on WordPress projects on my WordPress expert page.

How much does website maintenance cost per month?
€149 plus VAT for technical maintenance, €390 for maintenance with content care and monitoring, and €890 for care plus ongoing SEO work. All are fixed monthly prices. We’ll work out which plan fits in a free intro call.
What’s the minimum term?
Three months, then you can cancel monthly. We need the first three months to take over your site properly and lay the groundwork.
Do you only maintain WordPress websites?
WordPress is our focus and what the maintenance process is built for. We take on other platforms after checking them in the intro call.
Do I need to switch hosting?
No. We work with your existing hosting. If your host is clearly slowing your site down, I’ll tell you and suggest an alternative – but switching is your call.
What happens if my site goes down or gets hacked?
Monitoring alerts us automatically and we restore your site from the last clean backup. Hack recovery is included in the Care and Care + SEO plans; on the Maintenance plan we bill it by effort.
