# Google Ads expert in Hamburg – More qualified leads – for every euro you spend.

I’m Hamed Farhadian, a Google Ads and SEO expert based in Hamburg, Germany. I build and manage Google Ads campaigns around qualified enquiries rather than clicks, draw on what I know from search engine optimisation, and explain every step. You talk to me directly; delivery is handled with my team at SEOeffekt.

## Do these Google Ads problems sound familiar?

You invest in Google Ads every month, but the leads don’t fit, costs keep rising and nobody explains why. Then the problem is rarely the channel itself – it’s strategy, structure and the landing page.

You spend four or five figures a month on Google Ads. You know the channel has potential, yet something feels off. Do any of these ring a bell?

- **Reports instead of strategy:** every month you get glossy charts, but no answer to the question: what will we do better next month?
- **Rising costs, flat results:** cost per click goes up, the number and quality of leads don’t. The advice is always “more budget”.
- **Poor-fit leads:** your sales team complains about enquiries with no real need, or people who only compare prices.
- **No transparency:** contacts keep changing, and you never quite know who works on your campaigns or why decisions were made.
- **Missed opportunities:** you suspect there are quick wins, but the account is only being maintained.

If you’re nodding, you’re not just losing money – you’re handing market share to competitors who manage their ads better.

## What does a Google Ads expert do?

Google Ads (called Google AdWords until 2018) is Google’s advertising platform: you pay for your ad to appear above or below the organic results for certain searches, and you pay per click. A Google Ads expert plans, manages and measures these campaigns so that as many clicks as possible turn into qualified enquiries or sales – at a sensible cost.

A few terms you’ll come across:

| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| CPC (cost per click) | what a single click on your ad costs |
| CPA (cost per acquisition) | what an enquiry or sale from ads costs you on average |
| Quality Score | Google’s rating of ad, keyword and landing page; a higher score lowers click costs |
| Conversion tracking | measures which clicks lead to enquiries or orders |
| Negative keywords | search terms for which your ad should deliberately not appear |

The most important number isn’t the cost per click, but what a customer costs you and what they bring in.

## How do I work as a Google Ads expert?

Whether you run your ads yourself or work with a Google Ads agency in Hamburg: what matters isn’t only what happens in your ad account, but how. I don’t just manage budgets – I look at your business model. Working together rests on three pillars.

### 1. Personal support

You talk directly to me, Hamed Farhadian, about strategy and decisions. I know your business, your goals and your numbers. My team at SEOeffekt handles delivery, and you always know who is working on your campaigns. The result: short lines of communication, fast decisions and a consistent strategy.

### 2. Quick wins first

My first job in a new account is to find the levers that achieve a lot with little effort. Typical examples: search terms that burn budget without bringing enquiries, missing or broken conversion tracking, and ads that send people to the home page instead of a matching landing page. That way you see early on that things are moving.

### 3. Enablement, not dependence

My goal isn’t to tie you to me forever. I want to make your Google Ads so profitable and understandable that you see for yourself how it all fits together. I explain every step and help you make confident decisions about your marketing budget. No black box.

## Which levers lower your cost per lead?

Cost per lead drops when you stop bidding on expensive, irrelevant clicks and reach exactly the people who are ready to buy – and when your landing page convinces them.

I focus on traffic quality and a well-thought-out campaign structure. These are the settings with the biggest impact in practice:

| Lever | What happens | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Search terms and exclusions | terms without buying intent are excluded | less wasted budget |
| Campaign structure | campaigns split by service, audience and region | tighter control of budget and bids |
| Ad copy | clear benefits that match the search | higher click-through rate, better Quality Score |
| Landing pages | a dedicated page per offer instead of the home page | more enquiries per click, lower click costs |
| Conversion tracking | enquiries, calls and sales measured properly | bidding optimises for real results |
| Feeding back lead quality | sales reports which enquiries became deals | Google learns to tell good leads from bad |

The outcome: your sales team gets more – and above all better – enquiries for the same budget. How much that adds up to for you depends on your starting point and industry; the analysis will show.

### Why does the landing page matter so much?

The landing page is where visitors arrive after clicking your ad. It decides whether a paid click becomes an enquiry. It also feeds into your Quality Score and therefore into what you pay per click. My page on [conversion rate optimisation](https://www.hamed.de/en/conversion-optimization/) explains how to improve landing pages step by step.

## Why is SEO know-how an advantage in Google Ads?

Google Ads and SEO are two sides of the same results page. If you understand both, you find better keywords, build better landing pages and save budget wherever organic rankings can do the work.

I’m not only a Google Ads expert but first and foremost an SEO consultant: since 2013 my German page has ranked on page 1 of Google for “SEO-Experte Hamburg”, often in first place. Optimising Google Ads only from inside the ad account often misses the bigger picture. Combining both brings you concrete advantages:

- **Better keywords:** SEO research uncovers search terms with buying intent that your competitors haven’t thought of. My guide to [SEO keyword research](https://www.hamed.de/en/seo-keyword-research/) explains how.
- **Higher Quality Score:** I know how a landing page has to be built so that Google and visitors like it. If your site runs on WordPress, my team implements the changes directly – more on my page as a [WordPress expert](https://www.hamed.de/en/wordpress-expert-hamburg/).
- **Double presence:** you appear in both the ads and the organic results. That builds trust and brings more clicks.
- **Everything in one place:** the campaign needs a better landing page? Tracking needs a technical fix? We handle it. You don’t have to coordinate between providers.
- **Save budget where SEO carries the load:** terms that reliably bring enquiries in ads are ideal SEO targets. Once a page ranks well organically, you can reduce ad spend there.

One example: HostPress had high Google Ads spend. Thanks to SEO, visitors from Google rose by 245% in under six months, and HostPress was able to cut around €10,000 a month from its ad budget.

> We worked with Hamed and his team on SEO and, towards the end, on Google Ads as well. The collaboration was positive throughout. Hamed is very helpful, pleasant to deal with and always keen to achieve the best possible results. What we particularly liked was that the processes were transparent and a lot was explained clearly. That meant we learned a great deal ourselves. […] All in all, a very professional and committed team. Highly recommended.

> WordPress pro and, for me, a true online marketing authority! Hamed has earned every one of the five stars! We met through a mutual friend, and at first I was very sceptical. Luckily, I gave it a chance. Since then we’ve had a call every week focusing on website optimisation, SEO, Google AdWords and Facebook marketing. The result: a significant increase in revenue, greater reach online and better measurability of our successes. What stands out about working together is the very friendly and competent explanations and advice, plus recommendations for useful WordPress tools. Keep it up, Hamed!

## Is Google Ads worth it for your business?

Google Ads pays off when your customers actively search for your service or product and a customer brings in more than it costs to win them. It’s a particularly good fit:

- **for high-value customers:** if a new customer is worth, say, €10,000 in revenue, even an expensive enquiry can pay off. The key is reaching exactly those customers.
- **when launching a new offer:** ads bring visibility immediately, while SEO builds over months.
- **for online shops:** with Shopping ads right where people search for products. You become more independent in the long run with [e-commerce SEO](https://www.hamed.de/en/ecommerce-seo/).
- **in B2B:** when a few high-value enquiries are what counts. [B2B SEO](https://www.hamed.de/en/b2b-seo/) is a good complement.

Google Ads is less suitable if hardly anyone searches for what you offer. Then other channels are better for creating demand in the first place.

## Google Ads in Hamburg: what matters locally?

If your customers are in Hamburg or the surrounding area, Google Ads can be targeted precisely: by district, radius, time of day and device. I know the Hamburg market and its local quirks, which helps decide where advertising pays off and where it doesn’t.

Local ads work best together with a well-kept Google Business Profile and strong local visibility in the organic results – more on my page about [local SEO](https://www.hamed.de/en/local-seo/). Of course I also support companies advertising across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

## Who is your Google Ads expert in Hamburg?

My name is Hamed Farhadian. I’ve been online since 1999 and have worked in search engine marketing for many years – for clients and for my own projects. I’m a practitioner, not a theorist, and in the end one thing counts for me: what your investment brings back.

- **Visibility you can check:** since 2013 my German page has ranked on page 1 of Google for “SEO-Experte Hamburg”, often in first place.
- **Entrepreneurial thinking:** I see myself as a partner on equal terms, not an external supplier. Your success is my success.
- **Based in Hamburg:** I know the Hamburg market and work in person as well as remotely across the German-speaking region.

## Questions for your Google Ads expert

### How are you different from a typical Google Ads agency?

You discuss strategy and decisions directly with me as the owner, not with a rotating cast of account managers. And I don’t just look at the ad account but at the whole picture: search terms, landing page, tracking and SEO. That often reveals levers you can’t see from inside the account alone.

### We already have an agency. Should we switch?

Not necessarily. But if you’re not happy with the results, a second opinion is worth it. In a free initial call I look at your account and show you two or three concrete levers. Then you decide whether to implement them yourself, with your agency or with us.

### Is Google Ads worth it for high-value customers?

Especially then. If a new customer is worth, say, €10,000 in revenue, even an enquiry costing €200 or €300 can pay off – provided enough enquiries turn into deals. The key is targeting campaigns precisely enough that those customers get in touch, not the bargain hunters.

### How quickly will we see results?

First improvements often show within the first few weeks – for example once irrelevant search terms are excluded and budget stops leaking away. Lasting results build over several months, because bidding strategies need data and landing pages need testing.

### Do you offer training for our team?

Yes. Enabling your team is a core part of how I work: I coach your in-house people so they understand for themselves how it all fits together and become more independent over time. You’ll find workshops and webinars under my [talks](https://www.hamed.de/en/talks/).

### How much does a Google Ads expert cost?

It depends on scope, the number of campaigns and how much support you need. Your ad spend always goes directly to Google; management comes on top. After a short call you get a clear proposal.
